Overview - the mount itself combines a number of things that all fishermen and installers are looking for and didn’t even know it.  So, the Shore-Up was born.   

• The flip up shaft support arm - Finally, a mount with the feature to support the trolling motor shaft from flailing all around in rough water and on the lovely roads we drive on.  Made from Starboard marine plastic so you know it’s made to last.  Takes the vibration and bounce out of the shaft and saves the trolling motor from wear and tear to keep your motor out of the shop.  The support arm is adjustable, letting the user choose how much tension they want supporting the shaft.  The fully machined/custom made powder coated hinge is designed to take the stress of supporting the shaft even in the harshest conditions.  It has a feature that allows the user to adjust the tension on the hinge itself, with a few turns on the detent spring the user can lock the hinge/support arm in the upright position. (Minn Kota Ulterra users will love this.)

• The trolling motor base plate - Fits all major brands of trolling motors, Minn Kota, Powerpole, Motorguide, and Rhodan.  Made from 1” Starboard and a .25” powder coated Aluminum strengthening plate, it has an 18” slot which gives you the ability to mount the Puck in 7 different positions in 1-3/8” increments on the deck of the boat.  Having the ability to pin the trolling motor in multiple positions on the puck allows you to place the trolling motor where you don’t hit the roller when launching, the dock when tying up and allows you to keep your trolling motor on the boat when being covered.  Making it the most adjustable base plate on the market.

• Puck - Made from Starboard, is 1” thick and extremely durable to handle what mother nature and any angler can throw at it.

• Pin/Handle - Made from Stainless Steel, the handle has a 2” offset from the base plate giving the user ample room for their hands to pull the pin and replace it with ease.  The end of the pin is designed to accept a cotter pin or a coupler lock (sold separately) to keep the pin system secured to the mount.  The coupler lock will keep your investment safe and secure on your boat against theft without the fear of the lock rubbing the deck.

• Hardware - All mounting hardware is made from high grade Stainless Steel, all parts are CNC machined, CNC routed, and are made and assembled in the U.S.A.
