The Shore-Up is the final product of an exciting journey that started about two years ago.  You see, I like to fish (A LOT) and have a passion for fishing inshore; mostly Redfish.  I spend some time fishing recreationally in the Tampa Bay Area, however, most of my time on the water is spent scouting for and competing in Redfish tournaments that are mostly located in Louisiana.  Maintaining my equipment has always been a top priority for me and because of this I really wanted a better way to protect my trolling motor.  As fishermen we all know that the trolling motor is a sight fisherman’s lifeline, so protecting it from damage in the best way possible is of the utmost importance.  

After having seen a couple of one-off mounts made by guys I know, I decided that I wanted one.  “Patience is a virtue” does not apply to me, so instead of waiting for someone to build one for me, I decided to take a shot at making my own.  After several trials and bouncing around various ideas, one off the other, the Shore-Up mount was born.  I designed this mount with every fisherman in mind, from the weekend warriors to the ones on the water 300 days a year.  This mount encompasses multiple solutions for the issues that bay and flats boats encounter today.
